Client Settings - Age Brackets





The age brackets settings screen allows you to create the age bracket groups that your clients belong to. This could be an interesting metric for your marketing and management teams. The age bracket field is not compulsory.  

Main Menu | Admin | Client Settings | Age Brackets

To edit or add a new age bracket


  • From the Main Menu | Admin | Client Settings, select Age Brackets
  • Click the + Age Bracket button, or click on an existing record

  • Enter a Description for the age bracket
  • Enter the Start Age and End Age of this bracket
  • Enter a sort order, which determines the order of this age bracket in the drop down list
  • Select an Active Setting Status for new or existing age brackets, change the setting to Archived if this age bracket is no longer used

Where is the Age Bracket field used?


The Age Bracket field is used on the Booking | Personal | Medical Tab


Age bracket information is gathered on the Booking's Medical ta


  • Using the Age Bracket field gives you the ability to search for and report on the client bookings at an age bracket level.

  • For Odyssey clients who use the Import bookings Advanced Module, the Age bracket field will be automatically populated, based on the client's DOB.


  • Changing the client's date of birth will automatically update the Age at Tour Start, and Age Bracket fields.

We would like to mention the obvious here; age brackets are a "Point in time" measure, it's a moving thing, so not always the most useful piece of data to gather.


Can't find the Age Bracket field on a Booking record?


TIP:  If you can't find the Age Bracket field on the Booking | Personal | Medical tab, it may be turned off on the Master, as it's not a required field.  Go to the Master |  Details | Views tab, and click the eyeball to show it!
