Tour | Booking settings - Booking method



All Bookings within Odyssey can have a selectable 'Method', which is the Method in which this booking came to you.

The booking method settings screen allows you to set up the options required in Booking level drop down lists to specify how a booking came to you.  This may be direct, through an operator, or an agent, etc.

The field is used to gather metrics useful for the marketing and management teams.


Creating a new booking method


  • From the Main Menu | Admin | Settings | Tour|Booking Settings
  • Click Booking Method




Main Menu | Admin | Settings | Booking | Booking Method


Add a new description, and ensure the status is set to Active.


The  status of the a Booking method can be changed from Active to Archived or Deleted if the item is no longer in use


Tick the Default tickbox, if this booking method is to be the "default" booking method. (You will get a warning to advise you that this method will only become the default after you have logged out of Odyssey and back in again)




Where is it used?

The booking method drop down list is used in the Booking | Details | Details tab
