The group types settings screen allows you to specify the kind of group that is booked on a Tour Departure, e.g. Singles, Couples, Mixed Group, Family. Your marketing team may be interested in these metrics.




How to add a Group Type


  • From the Main Menu | Admin | Tour|Booking Menu, select Group Types

Main Menu | Admin | Settings | Booking | Group Types

  • Click once on a record to change it, or click the + Group Type button to create a new one

Group type settings
  • Enter a Description of this Group type
  • Enter a Short Code for this group type
  • Enter a sort order, which defines the order in which this item appears in the drop down list
  • Enter any specific office notes regarding this group type
  • Select a Setting Status of Active, for new Group Types
  • Select a Setting Status of Archive if you no longer use this Group Type

Where is the Group type setting used?


  • The Group Type drop down list is available in the Departure Detail Screen
