Deposit
There are a range of Deposit settings to suit every possible requirement, and are based on a Booking (Client) Total, or Booking (Client) Quoted value
a) Small booking value threshold
b) Fixed value Deposit
c) Departure specific % deposit (Managed on each individual departure, to suit)
d) Company Default % deposit
Bear in mind, too, that if the Balance is due x number of days before the Departure, the calculated Deposit figure could be replaced with the balance due!
All calculations are based on Tax inclusive figures
A. SMALL BOOKING VALUE THRESHOLD

C. and D. % VALUE DEPOSIT
BUT if the TOTAL or the QUOTED VALUE is more than the [ Small Booking Value threshold ] then either of these situations will apply:
- If a Deposit % has been entered on a Departure, it will be used
- If a Departure Deposit % is left empty, (e.g. no % selected) then the Company % Default will be selected
The Deposit Percentage field provides a drop down list where you can select a % value of the Payer's trip price as the deposit figure. e.g. if the trip cost is $1,000 and you set the deposit percentage field to .55, then the deposit requirement would be $550.

Each Departure can have it's own % deposit rate applied, which will override the Company setting, on the Departure | Details | General tab
B. FIXED VALUE DEPOSIT
HOWEVER, if a FIXED VALUE DEPOSIT amount has been entered, this will apply to all bookings, regardless of their value. No matter the cost of the client's trip, in this instance, the deposit requirement will be this fixed sum.
