From the Main Menu | Admin | Client Settings, choose Client Settings

To make changes to any of these settings:

Age Alert

(not sure if this is still in use, Tan checking 13 Aug 24)


This setting is used to store text that could be used in email communication to customers who are over a specific age, possibly asking them to provide you with a medical certificate.

Select an age from the drop down list.  


Enter text into the Info - Email Communication field

If your client's Date of Birth is stored in Odyssey, then the text in the Info - Email Communication field can be used in email communications with this client.  

Example text:  As this is an active tour we respectfully ask all guests with pre-existing medical conditions, or 75 years of age and over, to provide a Medical Certificate from your Doctor to show that you are fit and healthy.



Repeat indicator

(Being able to identify repeat customers is useful strategy for the marketing team. This is where you choose a single letter to used on customer records, when indicating that a customer has been on a trip with you before. 

Select a different repeat indicator letter from the drop down list.  



Format Surname

There are three options for selecting automatic formatting of the client's surname.  

  • UPPERCASE
  • Titlecase
  • no Formatting

NOTE: no formatting allows for eg; 'van Dirk' type surnames to retain the 2nd word as titlecase, but not the 1st.



Auto assign 1 payer for all, when creating new Tours

Tick this box, if each time a new Departure/Tour is created, the first client automatically becomes the Payer for all. This can be overridden at Tour level when not desired.
