Moving a Tour / Departure





On occasion, you may need to change the date of a Departure.  A Departure can even be moved to a new season.


From the Main Menu click on the three 'traffic light' dots at the top right corner of the screen, to access the 'Quick Access' menu.

From the 'Departure Search' field, enter either the Departure Code, or the Client's name, and choose it from the list of departures which appears below:

From here you can change any details at all regarding the departure, for example dates, departure status, quality, group type, or add bookings, change providers, etc.

To move the date of the [Departure], Click on the three 'traffic light' dots at the top right corner of the screen, to access the 'Quick Access' menu again.

Click the ' Move Departure' button

The Change Dates screen appears


In the " Start Date - NEW" field, click the Calendar, select a new start date.  

Note:  Odyssey will show you how many days away from the original date of the Departure this new Departure will be.  This is an excellent way to double check that you are moving the Departure to the right date!

The season code will be entered automatically, based on the new start date

Re enter the Departure Code, adjusting the month as required.  

Use the ' Last used suffix' button to find the last suffix used on this trip master, and enter the next suffix.

Click the Change button to complete the move


Note:  The Finance "Paying For" and Sharing information is not moved across, as both parties may not be moving their booking.  You will always need to re-select them.
