Bikes Ad Hoc Search

 Ad hoc searching is an extremely useful and powerful feature of Odyssey.  The Bike ad hoc search allows you to search for allocation data in relation to bike size, model, gender, date of hire etc.  

There is a fully detailed Help article on Ad Hoc Searching within Odyssey here.  Rather than reinvent the wheel (do you see what we did there?) we will just explain in simple terms how you could use the Ad Hoc search function in relation to Bikes.

In this example, we are looking for all eBike models, required in month 10, and then we want to sort the list by bike size. 

Performing the Search

From the Depot | Options menu, or the Main Menu | Resources | Bikes menu choose Bike - Ad Hoc Search

  • Click the orange Select search criteria button
  • Build up your search criteria:
  • From the orange Select field drop down list, choose Model Description
    • from the next drop down list, select is
    • from the next drop down list, select E-Bike
    • click the green + button to add a second search criteria
    • From the orange Select field drop down list, choose Month 
    • from the next drop down list, select is
    • from the next drop down list, select Oct
  • Your search criteria should look like this:

  • Press the Find button
  • The resulting screen will look like this:


  • Click the Sort button at the top of the screen

  • Click the Model, Month, Size button

  • Your resulting list should look like this

  • The data can be exported using the Export button
