The Charge Type settings screen is used in define choices for the drop down list used when entering how costs are allocated on a Booking.   

From the Main Menu | Admin | Settings | Company Settings-1 settings, select Charge types

Where are charge types used?

• Charge types are used for custom shuttle movements, where the cost could be split between a group, or paid individually
