Sandbox


At the login page for Odyssey, you will see two options, one to log in to your company's live copy of Odyssey, and other to log in to the Sandbox.


The purpose of the Sandbox is to provide you with a safe place to play, and test out new ideas, or anything you are not confident enough to try in your live file.  Nothing you do in the Sandbox can hurt!  The Sandbox is also a great place to try out more significant new functionality, such as integration with Xero, or emailing.

To log in to the Sandbox

  • Go to your browser, and click on your normal login link 

    It will look something like this:   

    https://www.creativetechnology.co.nz/login-odyssey-yourcompanyname

  • Click on the Sandbox button
Log in to the Sandbox using your usual username and password
  • and log in using your usual username and password. 
  • Click the login button
The Sandbox will always display that it's the Sandbox in orange lettering at the bottom of the window

You are presented with a copy of Odyssey, with data from your own business.  This data is not LIVE, in other words, it's not being continually synched with your real data file.  It is a copy of data taken at a point in time, and which we refresh for you from time to time.  


Note:  you can always tell when you are in the sandbox, because there is a banner running along the bottom of the window which says 

"SANDBOX - Testing Environment"
