Resource - Inventory Status

From the Main Menu | Admin | Resource | select Inventory Status

For Odyssey Clients who are using the Inventory Advanced Module, the Asset Status settings determine the colour and descriptions of the various statuses of your assets.  

The descriptions can be customised to suit your own business.  

To add a new Inventory Status

• Click on + Status to add an asset status

• Enter a description for the status
• Enter a corresponding Short Code for use when the full description is too long
• From the Colour drop down list, select a colour for this status
• From the Setting Status drop down list, select whether this asset status is active, or archived
• In the Notes field, record any explanatory notes that you find helpful

Where is the Inventory Status used?

The Inventory Status colours and labels are used in the Inventory Management chart
