Departure Balances


Pivot tables are an Advanced Module


This date bound report breaks down the various element balances (Client Prices or Finance values) per Departure/Trip, with various Sort/Print/Export options 


  • From the Main Menu | Finance | Reports menu, select Departure balances - by date

  • From the next screen, select your search criteria - the season and date range required for this report, the trail (or select include all), and the Trip Master, and the Method of how the group came to you (Direct, Agent, etc) then click Continue

Values

The report can display either Client values, or Finance values

Select whether you wish to display Client values, or Finance values

Note:  This window cannot be large enough to display all the values which have been found.  Exporting the data will provide you with a more comprehensive range of values than is visible here.  For example, commission values are not displayed in this window above, but will be available in the exported .csv file.

Sorting, viewing the data as a .pdf, or exporting the data

At the top of the screen there are options to enable you to sort, view the data as a .pdf, or export the data

  • Use the sort button to sort this data into helpful groupings.

The data is now grouped by Month, by trail, by Departure
  • or Save this report as a PDF, by clicking the PDF button, and clicking Save
    • and then click Close.  Your .pdf file will be in your downloads called "Untitled.pdf"

Click the download button to download the .pdf
  • or export the data to a .csv file, by clicking the export button, and then saying - yes
    • a message will appear advising you to click on the button to download the file, so click on the button in the window, then close.  Your file is now available in your downloads folder.
