Resource - Depot settings

Depots are places at the beginning or end of trails where briefings are performed, bikes are released, returned to and maintained, shuttles are operated from, and counter sales taken.  Not all Odyssey clients operate Depots, so some settings are required to manage Depot functionality in Odyssey.

Depot Functionality


Not all of our clients use Depot Functionality. Tick in any of these tick boxes to disable the functionality if it isn't required:

  • Hide Menu and Button Options - Hides the Depot Menu from the Main menu, and also the "Depot" button at the top of the Departure Dashboard
  • Hide Walkin - Hides the Walkin feature from the Options panel on the Departure Dashboard
  • Hide Shuttle - Hides the shuttle button from the Options panel on the Departure Dashboard
  • Hide Bike - For Odyssey clients who don't offer cycle tours, or cycle hire, this hides the bike functionality from the Resources menu, Depot lite searches menu, Master, Tour and Booking level movements, Day by Day, Extras and Accessories view

  • Combine Trails by Default:

    Tick this box if your business model is to ALWAYS operate over multiple trails, and you would prefer that the tick box for "all trails" is ON by default when making trail selections

  • Depot To Do and New Flag are editable by non Depot users - turn this on if you wish to allow reservations level users edit the Depot To Do's and the New Flag
  • Show accommodation on Manifest page for client shuttles

Briefing and Finishing Daily counts (on Depot 7 day view)


Odyssey allows you to filter the 7 day view for Briefings and Finishing records, to include ONLY records which Have a Briefing Time entered, or excluding those records in the total.


This can be used to EXCLUDE external operator records where their clients are handled differently, and only local depot briefing and finishing counts should be viewed.


Slide the button to black if only records which have a Depot Briefing "Start time" are to be included in the Daily counts


External Bag moving contractors are used

Slide the button to orange if External Bag moving contractors are used


Small Luggage Labels are used

Tick this tickbox if your company does not use the standard Odyssey luggage labels, but instead uses the small (54mm x 101mm) size


Internal Guidelines for Custom Transfers

Enter a URL here to take your users to a page where they can view your Company's internal guidelines on Internal Transfers, when on the Shuttles | Custom Transfers calendar (Or Depot | Diary | Custom Transfer Movements)


Default Rostering bag movement time


For Odyssey clients who also use the Advanced Module of ConnectTeam Rostering, enter a time here.  This time will be used, if no other time is used on individual bag movements
