Bag
Tour level Bag (or Luggage) Movements allow you to plan the movements of your clients bags from one location to another..
From the Tour, go to Movements | Bags

On the Tour's bag movement list, you will see a daily list of each planned bag movement, based on
- the Providers To and From
- the bag movement Purpose and Product
- whether the bag movement is to be charged
- the number of bags being moved each day
- whether an agent is involved
- and where appropriate - the name of the external bag mover undertaking this move
Bag movements are initially populated from the Master, and are generally based on the Accommodation Providers
The Refresh from Accommodation will now:
- Make all the Tour level Bag movements based on the entered accomodation per day
- Make the Client records all at once
- Using the Daily Bag Movement option
Or the Refresh from Master will:
- Make all the Tour level Bag movements based on the entered Masters level records
- Make the Client records all at once
- Using the Daily Bag Movement option
There are many different Bag movement options that can be entered into your Odyssey settings.

and several different Bag movement products, which control the rates used for each bag movement purpose

TIP: If an Accommodation Provider has been changed, you will also need to update the relevant bag movement
Looking inside a bag movement
Tour level Bag Movement | Bookings

The Bookings tab shows all of the client level bag movements selections.
The list shows
- the selected date, where it is from and to, and the bag movement product
- client name
- the number of bag movements on this day
- the retail and wholesale prices, and whether these will be charged
- whether this charge will be included in the agent commission calculation
- notes for office and driver
- and if there is a multi day rate
To move to another date
- use the < > arrows
These records will have all been prepopulated from the Master when the Tour was created, but can be modified and edited here
Tour level Bag Movement | Defaults

The Tour Bag Movement Details/Defaults tab displays the default selections for bag movements on this day.
The Defaults tab displays
- bag movement purpose (e.g. Daily bag, final bag, storage bag
- where the bag is being moved to and from
- the ability to change a bag movement date
- the bag movement product
- whether or not this bag movement is chargeable
- if the charge should be included in agent commission calculations
- the default number of bags that every client is moving
- the external bag movement supplier, if there is one
If an accommodation provider has changed you will want to update the bag movement From or To this new provider
- Click on the drop down arrow beside the From or To Provider from the drop down list
- select a different provider from the drop down list.
- This list is filtered by the location on that day, so that you only see Providers on the current day's location
- if the provider you wish to select isn't visible, click the Show All button, then all providers on this Trail/Category/Country will be listed

If changes are made to these settings
- any new clients being added to the Tour will receive these new settings
- if you wish existing bookings to get these changes, click the Push to Bookings button
To move to another date
- use the < > arrows
Tour level Bag Movement | Notes

- Optional Note fields for Office Staff, Drivers, and Finance
- Drivers notes will appear on the Manifest. Office Notes and Finance notes are for internal purposes only.
To move to another date

Tour level Bag Movement | Itinerary & App

The Itinerary App Text tab provides you with
- a non editable field, displaying the Itinerary text for this Bag movement (for your reference only). This text has been pulled from the Bag Movement | Product | Itinerary Info field in Resource Movement Settings. Learn more here
- Itinerary Notes - this field you can use to add client facing notes into the Itinerary
- a tickbox to indicate if this text should be displayed in the Itinerary or not. This can still be altered when creating the Itinerary.
To move to another date
- use the < > arrows
To add another Bag Movement to this Departure
- From the Bag movement tab
- Click the + Bag button
- Go to the Details/Defaults tab, and make all of the appropriate selections as described in the Tour level Bag Movement | Defaults section above
- Remember to push this new bag movement to existing bookings, if required
Bag Movement Alert
An alert will appear on a bag movement (and on the corresponding Provider record), when at Departure level, the Accommodation and Bag transfer movement Provider records do not match. This could
be because you have changed an accommodation provider, and not the corresponding bag movement record, for example.
