Why do my storage bags not show on the Manifest?
There are many kinds of "bag" products in Odyssey
- Daily (the regular daily move, e.g. move a bag from this provider to that provider)
- Extra (in case you want to charge a different rate for an extra bag movement, perhaps something oversized)
- Storage (keep it tucked away in your Depot somewhere, for x number of days)
- Final (moving a bag from the beginning of the trail, or from storage, through to it's final destination)
Each of these bag movement products are potentially chargeable, and separate!
Daily, Extra and Final, will all show on the Daily Manifest.
A storage bag will not show on the manifest, because it doesn't need to.
There are 2 separate and chargeable activities :
- Storing a bag for x days
- Moving a bag on the last day from the Depot to the end destination.
Since they are separate and chargeable actions, they also require two separate records.
If you need to see a stored bag moved on the final day - you MUST make a separate movement record on the Tour called Final Bag. This creates a separate bag label for the final bag movement.
The Final Bag movement is the one which shows on the Manifest, not a Storage Bag.
