Tour / Departure - Status field


Here is how to change a tour status, for example from Confirmed to Cancelled


  • From the Tour | Details tab
  • select a different Tour status from the drop down list, e.g. from Confirmed to Cancelled

  • You will then be presented with the option of applying that same status, to the Bookings on this Tour
Do you wish to change the status of the bookings, too?

    • If you are cancelling a tour,  but don't change the status of bookings - then their values will remain in all financial reports.
    • If you don't want the financial values to remain for bookings, then choose the cancelled option from the New Booking Status drop down list, and select Apply to bookings.
    • Alternatively, click the No Change button.  This means that cancelled bookings will still hold $ values for reporting purposes; typically this is when cancellation fees are applicable to bookings.  (Our clients would generally change the booking status to something else, such as Cancelled with Fees, or similar)
