The Proposals module is currently under development
The basic Enquiries function in Odyssey provides the opportunity to record enquiries, and then convert those enquiries into Tours/Departures. Standard email templates can be used to communicate with prospective clients, however emails to your clients can still be sent in your normal email programme. The intention of the basic Enquiries function is to be able to record enquiries, convert them to Tours, use the data captured to provide strong reporting stats to Management.
An advanced module allows Odyssey clients to also present online proposals to prospective clients.
The Enquiries and Proposals functions focus on Tour level settings, and does not cater to booking specific changes.

The Enquiries Dashboard
From the Main Menu | Enquiries menu, there is a monthly dashboard, based on when the month (and week) that the proposed trip was created.
The filter panel on the right hand side of the screen allows you to view only selected records, to assist with quickly finding the proposal you are seeking.
To create a New Enquiry
- From the Enquiry Dashboard, select the New button from the Options panel on the right hand side
- From the drop down lists, select
- the trail this proposal is based upon
- the master this enquiry is based upon
- the suggested date
- optionally, the number of clients
- type the name of the contact/organiser for the Proposal name
- a proposal code will be created for you automatically based on your selections
The code is based on:
- First character - Season
- Second character - Based on your admin setting - e.g. P for proposal, or E for enquiry
- Third character - Month
- Fourth character - Suffix e.g. 2 if this is the second Proposal in the same season and month
- Review the newly created Enquiry for content

How to tell if a Tour was created based on an Enquiry
If a Tour was created based on an Enquiry, then you will see the original enquiry code o the Tour | Details | Details | Original Enquiry code
Note: this field will not show, if the Tour was not originally created as an enquiry.
