Guide List
A tour guide is a person who leads and provides information to individuals or groups on your organized tours. Their main job is to ensure the safety of your guests, and give them a smooth and comfortable travel experience, while also informing them about any historical, cultural, or natural attractions.
Guide | List
- From the Main Menu | Resources | Guides | Staff menu, choose Guide List
- A list of all guides in the Odyssey "database" is available
- These records are just the same as client records, (and are actually stored in the same database) with the exception that guide records also have a licence | Certificate field
This searchable list displays:
- First Name
- Last Name
- email address
- phone number
- last tour code
- a record count, at the bottom of the list
The list can be sorted by First Name, or Last name, by clicking on either of those column headings
Use the search tool to search for a specific client
Filtering the Guide List
The list can be filtered by guide status
- Click on the Filters button on the Right hand side of the screen
- Make a selection from the drop down list, to filter the list by Active or Archived guide status.
To view a guide record
Simply click on the record you wish to view

Create a New Guide
- Create a new Guide by clicking the New button from the Options Panel on the right hand side of the screen
Tip: It is a good idea to perform a search first, to ensure the guide doesn't already exist in your system, by typing the guide's name in the search box as described above
