Master - Walk in Clients (Counter sales)
Your business may have customers who don't prebook, but walk in off the street, so your Depots need functionalilty to manage these clients.

For the Depot Walk in functionality to work, Each Trail or Location (learn more about Trails Here) must have a Master record set up for each type of Walk in Bookings you take.
If you take Walk in bookings, for Shuttles, Bikes, Bags, or a combination of them all, then you will need one Master for each of those bookings, per trail.
- Create a new master (learn more about creating a new Master Here), remembering to:
- Enter a Description which describes the Trail, and that this is the Walk in Master for shuttles, or bikes, or bags, or combination, e.g. A20 Walk in - Shuttle, enter an appropriate code.
- Number of days 1
- Tick the Depot use tickbox
- The tick indicates it is added to the available list of Masters which the Depot can use.
- It is not restricting it to Depot use only
- IF the Depot make a Walk-in, it is in their format.
- If the Res make a Tip it's in their format
- Neither Trip creation code is effected by the Master, it's if the '+ WalkIn' button is used that will define the alternate format of the code. (of which the Master code does make up a component of it)
Your Master Details screen should look a bit like this:
Because a walk in customer booking doesn't require very much information, very little setup is required on the master. in fact most of the views can be turned off. Set up the rest of your Master like this:
Note: this Master below is for a Shuttle Walk in, it will require slight modification if it also includes Bike hires, etc.
