Provider - General
General
The Provider General Tab contains settings in relation to provider status and category, email communications, and which trail or trails this provider is available on.
If the Provider has any particular communication requirements - e.g. a rooming list to be sent 30 days prior, then tick that field in the list. These fields are multi select, i.e. you can have multiple selections in this list
The Cancellation Policy field allows you to select a number of days from the drop down list. This number of days is the number of days before a booking date that a booking with this provider can be cancelled, without incurring cancellation fees. Having the cancellation policy field populated will enable you to effectively use the "nearing cancellation days" filter on the Departure Readiness list. Provider Category
From the list on the left hand side of the screen, tick the Category of Provider that this provider belongs to. A Provider can belong to multiple categories, e.g. this Provider might provide be both a HomeStay and an Activity Provider.
- Tick each box beside the category the Provider belongs in.
When searching for a "Motel" category accommodation Provider, this provider will now appear in the shortened list.
Provider Quality Rating
Enter ticks against each of the Quality ratings that this provider offers. A Provider can have multiple quality ratings.
- Tick each box beside the Quality Rating of the Provider
These quality ratings are for your own internal reference, and do not provide any other function in Odyssey.
Cancellation Policy
Enter the number of days Prior to a Tour start date, which is the Provider's limit for cancellation fees to be incurred.
Prepayment percentage required
If a prepayment percentage is required, enter the % here
Balance Due - No. of Days prior
If the balance due has to be paid a certain number of days prior to the Tour start date, enter the number of days prior here
