20 January 2026

• Some 'client related' fields such as first name, last name, mobile number, email address, will no longer be able to contain carriage return characters. If you do enter one, the return is automatically removed. This solves the issue of text entered multiple times, and being hidden below carriage return characters.

• A new field has been added to the Tour | Booking | Details | Details tab, to store Notes for Guides. Some fields on this tab have been juggled around a little to make room for this new field. These Notes for Guides now appear on the Tour output called Client Details list. (Office notes do not appear). https://support.myodyssey.app/article/212-bookings

• On Tour level Accommodation provider records, to support users who have a mis-match of Pax per Room and the rate being used, we have a new indicator which will ONLY show when there is an error. https://support.myodyssey.app/article/706-tour-departure-provider-booking

• A new fill down button on the Rate field on all Tour | Provider type "Pop up windows" mean that it's now easier to apply new rate settings to all clients on a tour, if required. • The Advanced Module of Import Bookings has had a makeover, making the process significantly more user friendly and easy to understand. https://support.myodyssey.app/article/451-importing-bookings

• Split booking forms. It's now possible to store separate Booking Forms per PAYER, and Odyssey correctly attaches the stored PDF to the client being emailed. No longer requiring multiples to be deleted just to be able to send the correct one. Also if you store a 'ONE' copy for the whole Trip, then you can attach that an email for ANY member of the Trip, not just the Payer of the group.

New fields for the Start and End date of a Vehicle Assignment on a tour, now mean that the dates when a Vehicle is assigned to a Tour can be adjusted - it doesn't have to be assigned to every day of a tour. TIP: Vehicle Assignments can be used to manage Garmins!

• Bag movements now synch with accommodation providers:  If you change an accommodation provider, the corresponding bag movement will automatically be synched to the new accommodation provider. https://support.myodyssey.app/article/700-tour-departure-bag-movements
• Storing the Itinerary: There is now no need to click OK after storing the Itinerary (or Pushing it manually to the app). A yellow message will appear after clicking the store button, confirming that it has been pushed to the app, and the message will then close itself automatically within a couple of seconds. https://support.myodyssey.app/article/456-create-an-itinerary
• Bag Movements with External Bag Movement providers: If the Trip Master has an external bag mover set, and users 'update from master' on a departure, the external bag mover is pulled in from the Master on all applicable days. https://support.myodyssey.app/article/700-tour-departure-bag-movements

• The L3Routes merge tag in emails now displays route records in a new table format with Day Number, Date, From, and To Location headings.

• The CHARGE tick in Departure level settings is now a direct clickable element for all Provider types, movement types, and base trip costs, removing the need to open the client record. Items not set to charge are indicated by a small grey 'x'.

• The Master | Daily Locations page now has a "Create Days" button which will automatically create the required number of days for the tour. https://support.myodyssey.app/article/198-master-daily

• For Odyssey uses who use the Ody Trips App advanced module, a new release of the app delivers a major performance upgrade.  The App has been tuned up, and a pesky slowdown has been removed.  The result? The app now starts about 90% faster.  Enjoy the smoother, snappier experience!

• A new Finance Setting optionally deducts any payments already received from a calculated deposit requirement. When enabled, the Deposit Required value will automatically reduce by any amount/s already paid. https://support.myodyssey.app/article/572-company-settings-general-deposit

• Tour/Trip views now includes an alert when bag movements have been sequenced by an Operational department/Depot.

  This update helps staff avoid making unintentional changes once sequencing is complete, or prompts them to advise the team if adjustments are needed.

• A personal bike preference can be recorded on a Client or Guide profile record. This displays on the their Booking as a prompt for the User to select their preferred model.  Note: there is no automation involved. Choosing from the Bike dropdown list is still required.

• The Tour level Finance page now provides users with a brief summary of the elements of each Booking's charges and discounts, when hovering over them. Additionally, clicking on the value of the charges and discount for a booking will open up the full details, where any required edits can be made. https://support.myodyssey.app/article/217-departure-finance

• The Departure/Tour dashboard can now also be filtered by Tour Type; e.g. the categories of trip types you offer, e.g. Package, custom, guided, self guided, scheduled, fixed, private etc., whichever you have defined 'Tour types' in Odyssey's system settings. https://support.myodyssey.app/article/517-dashboard-filters https://support.myodyssey.app/article/245-booking-trip-types

• Add Rooming details to Itineraries. We have added a new button on the Tour Itinerary Carousel pop-up window for Provider records. This allows users to insert the full Client Rooming details, after the Product details on their itinerary text block. These records will be editable, so they can be modified as required. ( Eg: to remove the Guide's rooming details if required ) Please note these rooming records are not NOT DYNAMIC. So if this text block is inserted, it will not automatically change 'when / if' the client numbers or rooming choices change. The text will need to be deleted and re-inserted. • The Departure/Tour Dashboard can now be filtered by a range of 'To-Do tasks' which have either been done, not done, or a combination of the two. • When using the Tour | Accommodation Provider - [ Edit Selected ] function, there is now the ability to Apply these settings to All Days (i.e. All Accommodation providers) on the tour. • Providers | Accommodation | Bookings

  A new "Apply to All Days" button is now available on the 'Edit selected' option. This feature allows you to apply settings to every day of a tour for all selected clients at once, a change from the previous per-client application.

• Providers | Transport | Bookings

  The "Apply to All Days" button on the 'Edit selected' option now appears only when the same provider is used on multiple days.

• The Tour Dashboard's viewing options have been updated to provide clearer choices. • Dashboard filters have been refined to provide more granular filtering. https://support.myodyssey.app/article/517-filters
  • On the Dashboard Filters Pop-Up window, there is a small arrow button > for users to select multiple Tour Status types to find matches... previously this was only one Status at a time.
  • Find all tours which match selections for season / status / L1 (Trail/Country/Category) / L2,(Master/Trip) then 'Open All Selected' so that this selection of tours can be reviewed or edited as required.
